Now, I know they say that a picture is worth 1,000 words, but in the eyes of the search engines 1,000 words are worth a lot more than any picture. This is because those Google spiders crawl words. They know that pictures are there but they don’t mean anything to them. They can’t see the beauty of a picture. But a well written article can not only drive traffic to your site but it can also make you a lot more money.
How do you make money by writing articles?
Well you could get on Elance.com or some other freelance site and get paid to write articles for other people, but then you only earn income that ONE single time. You will never make more money off of your hard work to write the article.

This is how article marketing works. I will make this as concise as can be.
Step 1: You write an article of 300-400 words on a specific topic.

Now, you don’t even need to know html or even set up a website. All you do is go through your web hosting company and set up a redirect. This re-direct will send any traffic that comes to www.buycoolstuff.com straight to your affiliate link. Ezinearticles.com does allow redirects so you can use your domain name for all your links and you will still generate sales from any traffic that buys the product.
Why I ONLY use Ezine Articles?
There are literally THOUSANDS of article directories out there. And if you are trying to find as many places as possible to submit your articles you are wasting your time. I used to try to submit to at least 20 different article directories.
And by the way, if you do this you need to make sure each article you submit is different than the others, otherwise you will end up with “duplicate content” and Google will totally overlook all your hard work and it will never be seen.
So back to Ezinearticles. They are a PR7 website that has articles that rank higher in Google and Yahoo than any other article directory. Don’t even bother with other directories because your time equals money. One Ezine article can do what 100′s of articles on other sites could never do. And on top of that you have a better chance of your article going viral with Ezinearticles.com. People looking for information on a certain topic will often use Ezine and use your article for something. This is perfectly legit and can result in a few more backlinks for your site as well.
And there are a lot of people that subscribe to certain categories with Ezine so they will read your article in their emails and click on those ever important links which will make you money if they buy or sign up.
