Yes, I know that dogpile can do the same thing, but there is something even better about what Scour can do here. You can give different search engines more weight than others. For instance, if you like Google’s results better than the others you can have more results from Google. Say you like Yahoo’s results better, and you hate MSN… you can just put more weight on Yahoo results in your personal settings, and less with MSN. So it really is a user based search engine.

I’ve seen quite a few of these sites that offer incentives for searches. I joined two, but was made to download a toolbar in order to do anythng and half the time the search engine didn’t even work. Having a bad taste in my mouth for these things, I’m not so sure of this one either.

Nope, haven’t been paid yet Brada. I am sort of leary about it too, but just thought I would let people know about it. You have to have a lot of points to just get the $25 gift card, but I just like that it searches google, yahoo, and msn together for you (like dogpile) and gives you at least a little incentive for using it.
