Getting More Traffic to Your Ezine Articles

Everyone wants more traffic, and if you have a blog that you are trying to make money on that you probably want much more traffic than you are getting.  Using Ezinearticles.com has been a great resource for me while doing internet marketing, but you have to know HOW to use this article directory.

There are literally thousands of article directories you can submit your articles to and 90% of them are complete junk.  And of that 10% left, only 1% of them get any kind of traffic to get excited about.

Now I have about 20 websites that I am currently promoting and driving traffic to (this blog is not one of them.  I just write here to tell allof you how my online businesses are going).  Every day I attempt to write anywhere from 3-5 articles on Ezinearticles.com.  This is the premier article directory and gets much much more traffic than all other article websites.  In fact, just from the 3 last articles I wrote I have received over 100 unique visitors to those websites I was promoting.

Want to get even more traffic out of your ezine articles?

Try building backlinks to those article pages.  If you are using a service like Linkvana and you don’t want to risk hurting your own sites rankings at all, just build links to that page where your article is on ezinearticles.  This way your article gets more exposure as it climbs in the search engines and you don’t risk anything SEO wise.

You don’t want to rely on just the organiz searches you get to your sites through the search engines.  You want as many doors as possible for people to find your site.   Here are some ways people should be finding your site:

  • through search engines
  • article directories
  • twitter updates
  • forum postings
  • blog comments
  • YouTube videos
  • Press releases
  • and many more avenues

Another way I have gotten a ton of traffic from ezine articles is when someone steals my article.  Now, normally this type of activity is frowned upon, and when someone steals an article from my blog it’s just plain wrong.  But if someone likes your article on ezine and uses it on their blog, it will also carry that backlink to your site that was left in the resource box.  I get links like this all the time.

The person using your article should always credit you with writing it, and if they leave out your links in your resource box you need to write them and have them take it down or add the links.

If you get in the regular habit of writing articles you can do it with a fair amount of ease.  Write down ideas on a regular basis so you always know what articles you need to do research on.  Even having a 3 point outline to your article can be a big help in actually writing it all out.  Just make sure it is at least 250 words and don’t make it too long.

Make the resource box exciting and have a strong call to action.  According to Ezine articles the article itself is the “give” and the resource box is the “take”, so you can use it for any shameless promotion of your websites.

If you just don’t want to write your own articles you can check out this amazing underground article service here.

Or you can always check out the very best ebook on writing articles on Ezinearticles I have ever seen called the Ezine Manifesto.

Long tail keyword rich titles automatically get decent traffic on EZA articles. I have also tried ‘manually editing’ RSS feed to get links to my ezine articles when I comment on blogs (commentluv blogs). Most of these links are nofollow but they have my chosen anchor text.

Great article, very informative. Article Marketing is one of the best ways to market your business online, and nothing would make it better than getting your articles published on Ezine Articles, I have generated a lot of traffic to my website ever since I posted articles on Ezine.
