5 Reasons Making Money Online is Safer than a “Real” Job

The economy is not feeling too great.  People are losing their jobs and having there homes foreclosed and many more are looking for new ways to make money.  But I hear of so many people who don’t think they can make money from home on their computer when they actually CAN!  And not only that, but it is safer.

Now before you say, “Jon, you have lost your mind”, here me out here.  Let me give you 5 reasons I believe that making money on ther internet is actually safer than what people would consider a “real” job, even though it is a very realistic way to earn a living.

1.  You can never be fired from making money online. If you are worried about security, than working online is perfect for you.  No matter what kind of lousy attitude you have or how late you sleep-in one day, you will not have a boss looking over your shoulders waiting to give you the boot.  Working from home can give you the best job security available.  This being said, you will have to motivate yourself even more to get your work done because you don’t have that pressure by someone else.  You need to set deadlines and give yourself goals.

2.  Your earning potential is not limited. There are many jobs that sort of have a cap or plateu and once you reach it you are pretty much stuck there for the rest of your life.  The possibilities online are boundless.  There are new ways to earn money on the internet all the time, and this blog will be keeping up to date with all of those methods and strategies.  But your only limit is really your will power and imagination.

3.  There is less risk associated with the economy. The hysteria about the market and the struggling economy can be a little disheartening, but one great facet of affiliate marketing and the many other ways to make money online is that even in a troubled economy you can still make a great living.  You just have to be smart about it.  Even if people are broke, they still have needs, they will still buy things, and as an affiliate marketer you can try to foresee the needs people will have and create a little niche to cater to that.

4.  You are not at the mercy of your company. As I stated in my first point, when you work online, you ARE the company.  I feel so badly for those who have lost their jobs and careers with these big corporations that suddenly collapse.  They go from being set for life financially, to being dirt poor and looking for a job to pay them anything.  But when you work online, you are your own boss.  This is a good thing because when the company is doing great you can take the credit for it, but if you are not making any money, guess whose fault it is?

5.  You are building a financial foundation to build on. The thing I love most about earning a living for myself with just a computer and internet connection is that I am building an empire so that years down the road I can still benefit from work I did years prior.  Even if I stopped working altogether on the internet I will still be making money.  The same cannot be said for working for a company.  When you get hurt they may give you some money for your time out, but that will only last so long.  Besides, when you make your money at your computer, you can have 2 broken legs and an arm in traction and still earn some extra cash.
