Should You Buy Text Links to Get More Organic Traffic?

If you have a website you want more traffic!  That’s just common sense for anyone, especially if you have a website you are trying to make money on.  The difference between being ranked # 14 in Google and # 3 can completely change your business and lifestyle.

I have a site that is in position #1 for my main keyword in Google right now and ever since it has been #1 has been making me a solid $100 a day.  (Now let’s just hope it stays there.=)  Do you know how much I was making on that site when it was in position # 20 a few weeks ago… Zip!  Not a dime.  So you can see why SEO should be a regular part of your day if you are an internet marketer, an affiliate marketer, or just a person who wants more targeted traffic to your site.

So the question is, “Should you BUY text links?”  This debate will go on long after this article, but you need to know the skinny on this topic.

Some marketers will say to never do it because it will hurt your rankings of Google finds out, but these same people have never even tried it to find out.

First, if you are working with a reputable company your links will be discrete and will not be branded as being bought.  Secondly,  having some good anchor text in your text links can propel your site to position #1 MUCH faster than old fashioned Search Engine Optimization ever could.  Old fashioned being to just wait for other people to link to you and not building any links yourself.

You will never make solid money this way, and this is why.  There is more competition out there all the time and THEY are buying text links on high PR websites and shooting their sites to the first page of Google and rakingin the dough.  By the time you wait for your website to be at the top spot in Google, that niche may be dried up and worthless.   I have learned that 1 week being number 1 in Google or Yahoo or Bing is better than being number 12 for a few months.  In that one week you will probably make more than you would have made the entire year on the second page of the SERPs.

I do not normally recommend buying text links, but if you need your sites to be propelled to the top of the search engines in a short period of time, this may be an option for you.  Just make sure you do it professionally and work with only the best company out there.  Which company is this?  Good question.  If you have any suggestions lets us know below.

I’ve done some personal experiments with buying links, but haven’t had much benefit when it comes to SERPS. I have found other ways to get good anchor text links and it works for my needs.

I can see where buying text links could be beneficial if you were in an extremely competitive niche and just need an extra little hump. I also would like to experiment with a higher PR site and approach them personally. Maybe, I can have better results this way.

good post, I have no plan to link affiliate website, even a generic presence of keywords boost your traffic but it requires lots of links even not matter paid or free links.

    Great Informations!

I think you can get the same results with free linkbuilding methodes, but buying links is much faster of course!

But maybe it´s more effective to buy articles for this money and submit them to article directories in order to build backlinks and some traffic to your website.

Where would be the most appropriate location for best text linking and such. Blog commenting would be enough I may think.

I don’t really like the idea of buying links if I can get them free. Also, I learned that google can possibly detect bought links. I am more into quality links built manually.

I was entertaing the thought myself. Today I submitted articles to directories all day( 5 hrs( it works) and I submitted 4 videos( it works(

Then, I made 2 posts on the new Aticle Video Robot that I tried out today. I posted the Blog feed and it was on Google in less that 2 hrs!!! How do i know this. I released kind of a Press Release on my blog and I create a Google Alert for it and it was in my mail that quick, and I got an immediate 36 clicks to the Blog and to the Video site, so something is working. I plan on converting all my articles to Videos tomorrow. Fascinating. Good luck..JB

I don’t believe in buying links anymore. I wasted a lot of money and the simple fact is that one really good relevant link from an authority site will provide more traffic and link juice than 1000 junk ones (number is pure speculation – you get the drift). Focus on related link from good sites and you will be far ahead than buying pr2 links from a football site to link to your knitting site. Just my .02
