Squidoo Lens Setup Video – Always Do it Right

Below is a video I have made for those just starting out with Squidoo and want some pointers to optimize their Squidoo lens properly.  It should also be helpful to some who have Squidoo lenses that are not doing so well, let’s say.. ranking 500,000.  Hmmm, now there would be a lens we definitely need to work on a bit.

This is by no means an exhaustive video on optimizing Squidoo, but in the near future I will make one.  This merely explains some things you MUST have in your Squidoo lens if you want to get traffic from Google and other sources.  I will also be explaining in another video how you can promote your lens and get word out there that you have this unbelievable page that everyone in the world will want to see.

Holy Cow!  I just noticed that the last 10 seconds of this video make me sound like Darth Vader!  Sorry about that.  Hopefully you can still understand those deep slow words.  But in case you couldn’t I was just emphasizing that you should not put a ton of affiliate links on your Squidoo page right away.

If you must put a link on there to start with just use one.  Then, AFTER your lens gets indexed in Google you can add a few more.  Add a little at a time.  Remember that slower is faster when building backlinks.  Build them too fast and Google will think you are the Spam King and try to dethrone you.
