What I Love and Hate About Micro Niche Finder

Micro Niche Finder is a great way to find some keywords that are being searched for every day but don’t yet have a lot of resistance.  But as much as I love and use the program, I must say it is not the end all for SEO and keyword tools on the market.

What I like about Micro Niche Finder:

I love it’s ease of use.  How you can search for a keyword or keyword phrase and it will spit back at you related keywords and how many searches are made every day for that phrase.  How accurate is it?  Well that is debatable.  I think a growing problem is that those keyword phrases are stacked somehow.  Every time someone who owns a website about fat loss types in a phrase to see how he is ranked it counts toward that total, but that is not the audience you are targeting.  This will inflate the numbers so even though you think 1,000 searches a day are being made for “how to get rid of belly flap” it may not actually be the case.

I also like how you can search the keywords and find how much the average adwords clicks are worth in Google.  Although you have to take this with a grain of salt as well.  The numbers can be way off at times, so just use it as a standard to go by.  I have found this useful in a few of my niche sites which are health related and regularly get $2 a click on some ads.

Another key point is how on Micro Niche Finder you can see how well a keyword is commercially targeted.  Like if that is a keyword that a buyer is going to use or not.  This is crucial if you are doing any affiliate marketing.  But there are a few other steps you want to consider before starting a niche store based soley on that one figure.

Ok now the bad part.

What I don’t like about MNF is not so much the program itself, but how people tend to use it.  Micro Niche Finder will tell you if there is too much competition in a certain field or keyword.  When I first started using it I would stray away from certain keywords because it came up with that little red light, but I cam to realize something.  Two things actually:

  1. There is a reason a field is competitive… it’s making people money
  2. It’s not impossible to rank for some of the most competitive words

What MNF does not do is help you actually rank for those keyword phrases.  But that’s OK because I would rather do my own SEO work.  Once your on-site is optimized you can concentrate on marketing for that page.

So now, instead of using Micro Niche Finder for finding keywords that have no other competing websites, I use it to find keywords that are getting a lot of searches and I base my quality unique content on that.  But you can’t rely on a program or any software to give you that magical pill for your sites to explode in traffic.

If you want to check out Micro Niche Finder you can do so at this link.  Yes, it’s a shameless affiliate link, but I am not writing this to make money.  Just trying to inform the public on what I think about the program.

Hi, i have used MNF as previously, and found it to be a marvellous tool to work with.

The SOC or Competition index is only meant as an advice.

For the new comers who are not adept in SEO, they have the additional options to choose other keywords with similar search volume but lesser competitors to rank higher in google.

A great tool to have if you are having MFA websites and affiliate marketing. This will greatly assist you in getting organic traffic if the research if done correctly

I had not heard of microniche, but I am really interested in the possibilities to help me. I think that this could really help me make money from home. I recently joined an affiliate program and think that this could really help.

Micro Niche Finder is really useful tool, which also should be used wisely. That is not to rely on 100% and evaluate the results suitable for you in practice.
