What’s New in WordPress 2.7 | My Upgrade Went Beautifully

Well I made the leap, and was a little hesitant about upgrading to WordPress 2.7.  Hey, I hate bugs as much as the next guy but the upgrade was a piece of cake and it went without a single hitch.  Whew!  Well, I feel better about that because I really didn’t want to spend half of my day fixing issues with my wordpress.

So you are probably wondering what’s so great about WordPress 2.7.  Here is a video from the  creators of WordPress and what they have put in 2.7.   I think you will like what they have done with the place.

I love the interface on my dashboard now and how easy it is to make changes that were a pain before, like moderating comments and making your replies to the comments.

You can change your dashboard to your liking as well and switch things around, just like you rearrange furniture on your house just because you want a change.  Well, I don’t know if you do that, but I do from time to time.

And let’s not forget what a pain it is to upgrade to WordPress everytime they come out with a new upgrade.  Well you don’t even need to FTP the new changes anymore.  It’s all built into 2.7 to make WordPress a one click upgrade solution.  Are you in love yet?

Ok, maybe I am going over board here but I really like the upgrade and am trying to convince any of you who are still on the fence to switch over to the newer, better, and sweeter WordPress.

Not only does it look cool, but it is functional, and that is much more important to me than looking cool, but when the 2 go together, it’s just a beautiful thing.
