Even if you hate SEO and can’t stand building backlinks and working with on site search engine optimization, it is the lifeblood of your website. If you are trying to make money online with your website, than it is not just a good idea to learn proper SEO, it is a MUST. I cannot stress enough how vital it is for you to learn how to rank in the major search engines. Let me give you some examples how ranking can affect your business.
I have a lot of websites. So many, in fact, that I easily lose track of them all the time. For one of my sites I was targeting a keyword that gets over 2,000 searches every day! Yeah, I know this is huge, but I made it to page one after a few months and my traffic just exploded. Now I was not at position one, just PAGE one in Google. But going from the top of page 2 to the bottom of page one gave me a 50% increase.
Then I was able to move my site up a few positions to number 7 in Google and my traffic doubled again. It’s amazing what a slight increase in the SERPs will do for you. In the few days I was in position 7 I was able to make over $100 each day. If I am ever able to make it to the top 3 I will be making serious money and that figure could triple.
Some of you may love PPC. I can’t stand it. I know there is a learning curve and you have to know what you are doing, but when you don’t have to pay for traffic it’s so much sweeter. And if you stop running your PPC campaign, your traffic suddenly stops. I am getting hits from searches I never even thought of because I have quality backlinks going to my sites.
There are a few articles on my blog about SEO but do some research for yourself and make it a daily exercise in learning a better way to get exposure to your site. It just may make the difference between a failing online business and one that gets 6 digit figures.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. But it takes discipline and a dedication I do not find out there.
In your opinion, is it ignorance or fear that holds people back, especially small mini- and micro- businesses who do not take control of the Websites?
I think it is more an ignorance of proper SEO and a lack of dedication and patience. SEO takes a lot of patience, as an entire day of work on just SEO for your site may not see results for several weeks or more. But in the end, it is worth it, if you just keep at it and build quality content with quality backlinks.
I have heard much about search engine optimization and I think it’s the best way to promote a site. Can you tell me, which are the best renowned SEO service providers available in the U.S?
I actually don’t use any SEO service providers. I do it all myself because you can get your site slapped by Google and put in the supplemental index if not done properly. Most of the companies that would be safe to work with also will cost way more than they are worth. It’s best to build a community with your blog commenting links, forum links, and a few link exchanges along the way with other related and reputable websites. As long as you have good and varied anchor text you will see big results.
